| Mexican Restaurant |
| This trendy restaurant which has cult status is situated in the middle of the Prenzlauer Berg district of Berlin and appeals to a mixed clientele. The outdoor area offers plenty of room to sit and a direct view of Helmholtzplatz. As the name suggests, the Mexican feel of the restaurant is reminiscent of the well-known painter Frida Kahlo. Pictures and paintings adorn the walls. A blue façade with red window frames and blue tables and benches are reminiscent of the ?Casa Azul? - the home, and now museum, of the Kahlo family in Mexico City. The restaurant serves Mexican food from morning to night, and only Spanish wines. They have brunch on Sundays and public holidays. This goes on into the afternoon. The restaurant has been adapted to the needs of the disabled. |
