| German film lovers will recognise Hof zwei im Mövenpick Hotel Berlin as being where German actor Till Schweiger landed in Klitschko’s wedding cake in the popular film Keinohrhasen (literally No-ears Rabbit). Apart from that, it is definitely worth visiting because of the Mediterranean ambience of the large roofed inner courtyard, which even on the bitterest winter day gives a feeling of summer. Real olive trees, a colourful mosaic floor, a waterwall feature and glass roof that can be opened in good weather all add to the atmosphere. The menu includes well-known Swiss specialities as well as Mediterranean and regional delicacies. Every Thursday guests can watch the chefs going about their work, and there are always regular highlights on the culinary calendar. |
