| The Kien-Du is a favourite destination for lovers of Thai cooking. Since 1973 the restaurant has offered an authentic dining experience with specialities from north east Thailand. The speciality of the house is the homemade curry, but that’s just one of a selection of tasty meals on offer. The kitchen prides itself on fresh ingredients and careful cooking, and the dishes really are a feast for the eyes. There are special rice tables for groups of four or more, which gives a real feeling for the Thai way of life. The centrepiece of the Kien-Du is a genuine Buddhist shrine with flower chains and incense sticks that adds yet more authenticity to the atmosphere. |

A small number of restaurants request credit card details to confirm bookings. Credit card information entered at booking time will only be passed to the restaurant if the booking party does not turn up and no cancellation has been made.
