| A taste of Bollywood. It is the mix that makes it work. The Meena Kumari has bright furniture, red and brown walls, illuminated pictures, ornamental Buddha figures, candles and a large window front. There is huge picture of a smiling Meena Kumari on the wall. The tikka-gujerat (chicken pieces with spicy yogurt, paprika, onions, tomatoes and seasoned with ginger and coriander served on a hot cast-iron platter) is very popular with tourists and locals. A glass of wine goes down perfectly with the meal. If you have a sweet tooth, why not go for the baked marzipan lychee served with mango sauce? The staff are friendly and helpful. |
