„Die Aromen tanzen Tango,“ so jubilierte die Welt am Sonntag über das Remake. Und im renommierten Gourmetführer Gault Millau hat es das Restaurant in Berlin Mitte immerhin schon zu seiner ersten Kochmütze gebracht. Das Rezept ist traditionelle deutsche Küche, aber auf eine frische, neue Art und Weise zubereitet und präsentiert. Tradition also mit kreativem Pfiff, Klasse statt Masse. Zum Essen gereicht wird Wein von der mit 200 Positionen durchaus beeindruckenden Weinkarte.
Die Einrichtung ist so schlicht wie der Ansatz der Küche: Naturmaterialien, schlichte Formen, indirekte Beleuchtung. Es entsteht eine warme Atmosphäre – alles vertraut, und doch neu. Das Remake trägt seinen Namen zurecht. |
