| The Manzini Café Restaurant is a homely venue in Berlin’s shopping district, popular with celebrities from the world of drama and literature. The moneyed and well-heeled also enjoy breakfasting in the restaurant with its cosy little corners. The mirrors and long upholstered couches give the little Schlauch (meaning tube) a very French feel, but the cuisine is Alpine. Try the Wiener Schnitzel with lukewarm potato salad or the Kaiserschmarrn (sugared pancake with raisins) served with stewed plums. Simply mouth-watering. The waiters are entertaining, well trained and discreet. The Manzini also has an interesting selection of wine. |
