| The Valmontone is a traditional Italian restaurant situated on the busy Friedrichstraße in the centre of Berlin. It is a restaurant, wine shop and bar all in one. Its spacious but cosy interior can seat 130 people. In sunny weather another 90 diners can sit outside. The restaurant serves Italian dishes - including traditional stone oven pizza, rack of lamb in a herb crust on balsamic sauce, gilthead fillet on vegetable Julienne with lemon basil sauce and fancy truffle dishes. The restaurant offers homemade Italian ice-cream for dessert. The Valmontone has a standard menu as well as a business lunch menu which varies from week to week. Live music, talks given by well known people and other events add variety to the social programme. |
