| The Waschhaus is a unique restaurant located in the Berlin suburb of Alt Köpenick. This bar restaurant serves substantial and traditional Bavarian dishes, such as crispy roast knuckle of pork, white sausages and boiled rump of veal in horseradish cream. It also offers a Sunday brunch buffet with musical entertainment. The restaurant has a large glass frontage which means that the restaurant dining area is brightly lit. The dining area can seat 100 people. The Kaminzimmer (lounge with fireplace) can seat another 100 guests. The beer garden and the terrace can seat another 400 people. For all its spaciousness, the Waschhaus retains its Bavarian-style charm. Warm colours and dark wood give the interior a modern appearance. There is a culinary themed programme offering a variety of dishes from different countries and regions at different times of the year. It even offers an original North American dish with bison meat, as well as specialties from various parts of Bavaria. |
