| The Zander offers excellent German wines and innovative local cuisine. The city’s gourmets and gourmands dine in a relaxed but refined setting. The restaurant has some attractive art and an open-view kitchen to look at. The waiters are slick and friendly, conveying the meals from the kitchen to the tables laid in white linen. Try some pasture-fed beef from Märkisch-Oderland (fillet of beef seasoned with herbs and wrapped in ham) or fläminger Maibock (a pot roast). All the food is very well prepared. Go for a dessert such as crème brûlée served with strawberry cappuccino. |
